On “Your Presence,” celebrated Ghanaian worship leader Joe Mettle partners with Ps Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye to deliver a deeply reverent, atmosphere-shifting anthem centered on intimacy with God. Built over a serene backdrop of soft piano chords and subtle atmospheric pads, the song opens with quiet restraint. Mettle’s warm, commanding vocal performance establishes a grounded foundation, steering the track into a focused journey of reverence and devotion.
“Your Presence” shines through its unhurried progression and the seamless vocal dynamic between both ministers. The live production expands with intentional grace, layering warm basslines, delicate percussive rises, and swelling choral harmonies around the lead vocals. Ps Isaiah Fosu-Kwakye brings a rich, passionate vocal counterweight to the song’s midsection, elevating the spiritual momentum without overcrowding the sacred, reflective atmosphere.
Featured on his acclaimed live album The Experience, “Your Presence” stands as a masterclass in modern African worship composition. The song’s power rests in its structural simplicity and chant-like refrain, allowing congregations to easily join in prolonged, corporate worship. Backed by pristine sound mixing and genuine ministerial passion, the track remains a timeless, high-impact worship staple for both personal quiet time and live church services.

Lyrics: Your Presence by Joe Mettle
[Verse]
We will never Move
Until you Lead the Way
Lord, there’ll be no Decision
Until we know you’re In
We will never Move
Until you Lead the Way
Lord, there’ll be no Decision
Until we know you’re In
We will never Move
Until you Lead the Way
Lord, there’ll be no Decision
Until we know you’re In
We will never Move
Until you Lead the Way
Lord, there’ll be no Decision
Until we know you’re In
[Chorus]
If your Presence doesn’t Lead Us
Don’t Take us any Further
We need your Glory
Show us your Glory
If your Presence doesn’t Lead Us
Don’t Take us any Further
We need your Glory
Show us your Glory
[Repeat Verse]
We will never Move
Until you Lead the Way
Lord, there’ll be no Decision
Until we know you’re In
We will never Move
Until you Lead the Way
Lord, there’ll be no Decision
Until we know you’re In
[Chorus]
If your Presence doesn’t Lead Us
Don’t Take us any Further
We need your Glory
Show us your Glory
If your Presence doesn’t Lead Us
Don’t Take us any Further
We need your Glory
Show us your Glory
If your Presence doesn’t Lead Us

We need your Glory
