The mirror is a surface, typically of glass coated with a metal which reflects a clear image. Also, mirror gives a clear reflection of our image. In addition, It tells us who we really are and what we truly look like. Most people, especially the female folks cannot do without a mirror in a day.
As children of God, the Bible (word of God) is our mirror which gives us a Clear reflection of who we truly are. Heb. 4:12, makes us understand that God’s word is powerful and sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thought and desires, exposing us to what we really are. It is the word of God that gives a true definition of what and who we truly are. His word is truth, he honours his word even more than his name.
Finally, every child of God that doesn’t look into the mirror of God’s word will be ignorant of God’s plan and mind. Ps. 119:11 tells us that God’s word holds us back from sin.
In conclusion, Don’t be too busy to look into the mirror of God’s word. His word gives light and understanding to the simple. The question now is: HAVE YOU LOOKED INTO THE MIRROR TODAY? DO THAT NOW!!!
